Title | Sassysally
- fashion and food -
4th Solo Exhibition (2012, Korea)
Sassysally, which comes from Sassy Sally suggests a modern but little bit quirky mood. The logo of Sassysally represents double ‘S’ letters to face each other to create a heart shape, and the font is like a slight joke, and the red kiss mark brings something like a hot liveliness.
Sassysally 2012 S/S seasonal concept is Fashion & Food. The two leaders of consumer culture, fashion and food show a relationship of homonym, which means each of ‘beauty(美) - taste(味)’, and bear a daily aesthetics to live the world ‘delightfully and deliciously’. The fusion of fashion and food presents a cheerful crossover of mass culture, as well as an aestheticism of everyday life to break down the boundary of art and daily life. This exhibition melts the concept with a variety of textile designs, such as egg fries, fishes with logo, pasta and ribbons, Christmas cookies, sweet chocolates, fancy cakes, and apple pieces, and fashion items. The unexpected combination between various dishes and fashion items provides an ordinary style with humor and wit.
